I know this gets asked every few years, but since things change I thought I would ask for Fall 2023:

I have both a solid body and a hollow body guitar that needs to travel from California to Europe. What are current best practices/favorite carriers:

1) In a hard case or packed in foam? If case, are there best practices for packing the guitar in the case? If foam, double boxed?
2) For the T type, remove the neck?
3) Sources of boxes? Cut and tape your own? Guitar Center? Online source?
5) Best carrier? UPS? DHL? Other?

Both guitars I made. I love them, but I can make more. This isn’t shipping a $20,000 masterpiece to a client. Still, I wouldn’t be shipping them if I didn’t want to have them to play.

Thanks!
